THE SKEENA RIVER
The Skeena River is world renowned for it’s Steelhead and salmon fishing and we are located right in the heart of the Skeena region! All the fish migrating from the ocean towards the Bulkley, Babine, Kispiox, Sustat and Morice travel up the Skeena right by our lodge! The Skeena produces large numbers of fish daily and offers a lot of good water for beginner fly anglers to expert spey anglers.
We fish the main Skeena river and many of it’s tributaries and numerous other small rivers on the upper and lower Skeena system.
South east of the Skeena estuary is the Kitimat River which boasts large runs of salmon and Steelhead amongst breath taking scenery. Fishing for Chinook, Chum, Pink, Coho and Steelhead on the Kitimat is great for any skill level of angler. We use rafts to navigate different parts of the river with varied runs and water characteristics.
Our guests also enjoy some great fishing with us on the Nass River and it’s tributaries. For some of our more remote wilderness rivers we have seasonal camps as well as fly-in trips if this is something you would like to experience.
